A quick walk out to the Headlands Beach state park breakwall yielded a
Canada warbler along with gnatcatchers, an empid flycatcher (least?) and
numerous catbirds and yellow warblers. There was a fair amount of activity
but I had only a few minutes. Things are looking up, though.
Red-breasted nuthatch has been reliably at my home peanut feeders since
July 5th.
