On Saturday, we were able to confirm breeding success for the Harrier when two adults and a juvenile
were located at the Harrison Co. airport. We also found an adult Per Falcon south of the airport on the
reclaimed grasslands and an additional Harrier. Any birder in the area may want to keep an eye open
for a Raven. We saw what was likely a Raven but it flew silently by at such an angle we could not
confirm its ID. I had one here in mid-August last year. Lots of FY GRSP, SASP, few VESP, many HESP
still singing. The last Uppie was seen on 7/27. Scott Pendleton
