Thanks to everyone who helped make the count a resounding success. We
found 88 species, which was two more than our previous high. Highlights
were a Peregrine Falcon, a Short-eared Owl, and a Vesper Sparrow, along
with record numbers of Ruddy Duck (5), Bald Eagle (6), Red-bellied
Woodpecker (217), American Robin (13,981), and Fox Sparrow (12). We
found thirteen species of waterfowl, which was somewhat surprising
considering that so much water was frozen. Sparrow numbers in general
were also higher than usual.

All the details are posted on the National Audubon web site, at
http://cbc.audubon.org/cbccurrent/current_table.html.

Hope to see you all Sunday on the Cincinnati CBC.
