Let me relieve other Canadian and US friends of any responsibility to
remind me I screwed up in saying Long Point, as the site of yesterday's
sighting of cave swallows, is on Lake Ontario. There is a Long Point
there, but the one I intended is the more famous birding spot on the
Lake Erie shore. So this species *has* been seen recently in Lake Erie.
Let us know if you see any on our side,
