Only the faintest signs of Spring were at this MetroPark SW of Columbus yesterday morning. Stops at Indian Ridge, Cedar Ridge, and the wetlands produced very little other than residents; even sparrows were scarce, despite the beautiful weather. Notables included:

Pileated Woodpeckers - 2 were drum-dueling at Indian Ridge
Sapsucker - 1 was calling at the Indian Ridge picnic area
E.Bluebirds - small flocks were at Indian Ridge Prairie and along Darby Creek Drive
Blackbirds - small #s of Redwings were in many locations, and flyover groups of Grackles were also around.
