Three immature bald eagles were perched on the ice at Tappan Lake, Harrison County this morning. One had some small food item that was apparently of interest to the other two.
The lake is still frozen over but some waterfowl is beginning to use the east end at Deersville Rd.; Canada geese, mallards, and an unidentified (from my 60 mph vantage point) grebe.
