Hello All:
I am quite sure I heard a Summer Tanager singing in my friend's yard in Bainbridge Twp. in Geauga County yesterday. Couldn't spot it, but the song matched exactly the recording on the Ohio DNR CD. I remembered it from listening to the CD!
However, all other sources online for bird songs don't quite sound the same to me; the pauses are more random than I hear on the CD.
Any comments? For sure I'm going back to try and spot it, as my friend (not a birder) says she hears it often.
Thanks-
Lyn Miller
Geauga County
