My father found two Eastern Screeh-Owl young in his shed. When he went out
to the shed to close and lock the shed up for the night he heard the owls
collide into the window. He caught one owl in a net and the other owl was
able to fly out throught the doors. Both owl are now perching in trees in
the backyard.
Other sighting for the day include a yellow warbler, common yellowthroat,
wood thrush. Were all observed in Big Creek Reservation of Cleveland
Metroparks south of Fern Hill.
See you in the field,
Jerry
