I was over to Glacier Ridge Metro Park wetlands just after noon and the
northern section as well . It was a very meager haul as far as sighting
bird species to say the least I agree with others as far as being
disappointed by the virtual "disappearance" of the bulk of the wetlands
area.. I had some relatives in town and was
eager to show them the place before they returned home tonight. They
did,however, get a kick out of seeing a number of bullfrogs, 1 juvenile
mallard,some kildeer,and 1 TV wheeling low over the grassy area between the
marsh and Rt. 33.
