Observed several nesting Great Blue Herons in southern Lorain County while 
driving on SR 301. The rookery is located on the east fork of the Black 
River midway between Jones and Smith Roads on the east side of 301 in 
Penfield. It is easily seen from SR 301 when driving south, going north 
it's harder to spot because the trees block the view until you're almost 
even with it.
