I spent a wet morning surveying areas around Lake Grant Wildlife Area in Brown county. The Ohio BBS areas include: 76D1SE, 83A4NE and 83A5NW. Some highlights include Canada Goose with two young. Two Eastern Kingbirds harassing a Red-shouldered Hawk as it attempted to catch breakfast. Two Louisiana Waterthrush on territory at two different streams. Northern Rough-winged Swallows checking out drains under the bridge at the dam spill way.
