The two Red-breasted Nuthatches were still present between 4:00 - 4:30 pm
yesterday, Saturday, 01/28, in the Tall Pines area. The is a camping event
(scouts?) in the nearby Prairie Pines area with suitanle habitat. These
birds were reported by David Brinkman on CincinnatiBirds.com.
I tried for the American Woodcock at Miami Whitewater wetlands at sunset
near the observation platform and until 6:30 pm without success.
