This morning Rick Asamoto and I observed an American Pipit on the Caesar Creek Beach or what is not under water in the beach area. The only other birds seen there were:
3 Green-winged Teal
3 Mallards
4 Killdeer
There was more waterfowl in the Youth Pond though they were skittish and some flew away while we watched. We saw:

12 Ring-necked Ducks
10 Redheads
5 American Goldeneye
1 Canvasback

While at CC Rick got word that the ROSS'S GOOSE was still being seen at Cowan Lake.

Still Winter Cheers, Larry Gara, Wilmington
