Today the Darke Co. birders went on their annual duck drive. We checked out
several wet areas/ponds in western and northern Darke Co. Ducks/birds
included Gr. and Bl. wing teal, mallards, Hooded Mergansers, Buffleheads,
Red heads, Ringnecks, L. Scaup, A. Widgeon, Pintail, Shovelers, Gadwalls,
Canvasbacks, Can. Geese, Horned Grebe. N. Harriers, Redtail Hawks, Snipes,
E. Meadowlarks, Fox Sparrow, Tree Sparrow, Song Sparrow, etc.

Tonight a few of us walked at a private farm/woods:
4 woodcocks flying
1 screech owl
1 Pileated Woodpecker
1 Phoebe
Bluebirds
