Perfect habitat, and no doubt part of their blitzkrieg takeover style. If you're out in western Ohio, let us know when you see more of them. Just six months ago, the only record we had was a bird shot by a hunter in Crawford Co. Bill Whan Columbus p.s. Tory Shively reports a Mississippi kite carrying food at the Hocking county location today.46_11Jul200719:53: [log in to unmask] |

The beach at Buck Creek had one each of Black, Forster's, and Caspian Terns
this
evening. The Black Tern was molting into nonbreeding plumage with a
mostly white face and mottled white and black chest.
Among the 300 or so Ring-billed gulls was a single Bonaparte's gull.
