Hi all,
A brief stop at Horseshoe Lake in the rain this afternoon yielded some
interesting results:
2 Common Loon
3 Horned Grebe (pretty unusual for so far inland)
2 Pied-billed Grebe
2 Bufflehead
4 Ruddy Duck
10 Rough-winged Swallows (first I've seen here all year)
6 American Tree Swallows (first I've seen here all year)
3 Rusty Blackbirds
1 Yellow-rumped Warbler
1 Eastern Phoebe
and the usual assortment of Mallards, Wood Ducks, American Robins and
such...
Good birding,
Gautam Apte
