Today as my boss and I were heading out to
lunch, I spotted a trio of Ospreys soaring over "The Hill" in Montrose
(I-77 and St. Rt. 18, DeLorme 41, C5).
There is circumstantial evidence of this being at least the second year
of possible nesting at Barberton Reservoir, a few miles due south of
there (D5). Yesterday morning, 2 were tussling over a perch in a dead
snag in a little cove off Summit Rd. I saw a pair in the same area a
few times last summer, as well.

better-looking penguin someday." -- Ellen DeGeneres
