From 10:30 - 1:00, Sherrie Duris and I were treated to a decent raptor movement from the Magee observation tower. Interestingly, the flight included almost no Broad-wingeds, but was heavy on accipiters, many of them zipping by the tower at eye-level:
Turkey Vulture ~100
Osprey 3
Sharp-shinned Hawk 82
Cooper's Hawk 28
Broad-winged Hawk 3
Red-tailed Hawk 3
American Kestrel 1
Sandhill Crane 4
Pine Siskin 4
Numbers and variety along the bird trail were reduced from yesterday, with nothing new to add.
