Traveled out to Pickerington Ponds with a friend today from about 8:00 - 10:15. Here is what
we saw:

Canvasback
Ruddy Duck
American Wigeon
Ring-necked Duck
Mallard/Black Duck Hybrid
Great Blue Heron
American Coot
Pied-billed Grebe
Eastern Medowlark
Field Sparrow
Eastern Towhee
Northern Mockingbird
Eastern Phoebe

American Crow
Red-winged Blackbird
Brown-headed Cowbird
Northern Flicker
Hairy Woodpecker
Red-bellied Woodpecker

Over 30 species for two hours isn't too bad! We were really disappointed that we didn't get a
chance to see the cranes, but maybe next time!
