KIRTLAND'S WARBLER, Franklin County.

I was sent a couple pictures of a Kirtland's Warbler seen Tuesday morning (May 9) on private property adjacent to Indian Mound Park in Obetz.

I was graciously invited to search the property, and the park as well, but I did not find the bird. Lots of movement overnight on radar also suggests that the bird has moved on.

This is typical timing in Central Ohio for KIWA, so check migrant traps, especially those with pines, carefully.
