There was a moderate flight of birds today. There were decent numbers of
red-breasted mergansers, but they were out pretty far making it difficult to
look for different birds amongst them. There was one black scoter in a
close flock. The bird of note today was a 1st cycle black-legged kittiwake.
It flew by alone heading west.
