North of Columbus, off Dublin Rd and S of the Hayden Run Bridge, I have
been hearing red-breasted nuthatch sporadically since last month. For the
past three days I have heard them regularly. However, I never call rbnu's
on voice alone the first time of the season - just too much overlap with
some wbnu's. But today I had a definite sighting and the voice is reset in
my mind, so I am confident in saying they have been here since Oct 10 and
possibly earlier in mid-September.

Sandy
