Greetings!
Crazy day at Lawrence Woods. I went in with an already a personal best 77
species ...I heard what I thought were gulls...50 Blue Morph Snow Geese
flew overhead, which I already had.
As I was leaving, I saw what looked like a Harrier...till it hovered in
place and showed me it's bracelets...Rough-legged Hawk!
I had close to a dozen Red-headed Woodpeckers, and finally got a Northern
Mockingbird for 81.
Definitely a record January so far for me, by the time I got home, I was
one short of 85!
Happy birding and God bless!
Steve J.
