This morning (Sunday 7-29) at 10:45 Shaune and Jim Skinner and I saw the
Kites at the same spot I saw them last week - at the end of the split rail
fence along Keller Rd. near Hole 4 of the Brass Ring Golf Course (328 Logan
exit). Our view surpassed mine last week because this time we saw 2 flying
together !! When we returned there around 2:15 PM, we saw only one soaring
rather high. Also at that time, several golfers stopped to tell us that
they saw 3 (!!??) perched in a dead tree near the tee for Hole 5. Although
this is second-hand info, it is rather intriguing. We tried to drive to
Hole 5 to no avail. We then tried to rent a cart, but couldn't because they
were "too busy". Pretty fascinatiing day !
