I sighted a number of migrants this morning during a quick late morning walk
along the towpath and river just south of the Ira Road Beaver Marsh.
Palm Warbler (8)
Yellow-rumped Warbler (3)
Yellow Warbler (2)
Northern Waterthrush (1)
Other highlights:
Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher (3)
Eastern Phoebe
House Wren
Northern Rough-winged Swallow pair
Common Merganser pair on the Cuyahoga River
And an extremely large snapping turtle
I also sighted a Hermit Thrush and numerous woodpeckers and chickadees
earlier that morning on the nearby Oak Hill trail.
