Today, Black Swamp Bird Observatory Hawk counters , Barb & Dan Myers saw an
Am. White Pelican at 11:30 AM fly over the Magee Marsh Observation tower at
11:30 AM flying towards the lake. Winds were light out of the SW today and
brought a few raptors overhead:

Red-tailed Hawk 14, Bald Eagle 2, Northern Harrier 2, Turkey Vulture 32,
Sharp-shinned Hawk 2. More hawks were moving after 4:00 PM.

Tomorrow looks to be a good migration day for raptors, shorebirds, and
songbirds with winds out of the SW.

Check out Black Swamp Bird Observatory's website for more info on bird
migration in the Lake Erie Marsh Region at www.bsbobird.org

Enjoy Spring,
