Blendon Woods is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off of I 270
& Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle exit. Below is a list of the Birds seen
yesterday ( March 22nd)
Thoreau Lake
Wood Duck-4 males, 3 females
Ring-necked Duck-5 males, 3 females
Gadwall-4 males
Greater Scaup-male
Pied-billed Grebe
N Shoveler-2 males, female
Great Blue Heron
A Black Duck-4
Mallard-5 males, 4 females
Tree Swallows
Pine Warbler-Lake Trail-meadow near Thoreau Lake
Apple tree by bench at meadow
Pine trees between Blinds
Treeline
Lake Trail
Brown Creeper
E Bluebird-pair-using Box #28
E Phoebe
Yellow-rumped Warbler

Turkeys-becoming very active-many males Displaying to females
