There were four Nelson's Sparrows in the short grasses along the west edge of the impoundment, this evening. Also, in this area were 10+ Bobolinks, LOTS of sparrows, and five Rusty Blackbirds.  Two Lesser Yellowlegs were present, and six Semipalmated Plovers dropped in during my stay.  Overall quite birdy...tomorrow could certainly be good.  NO phalarope, however.

Good birding -
Gabe Leidy
Sheffield Lake
