Things are definitely quieter the last couple times I've birded Clear Creek but still quite enjoyable, partic the cool, fall-like morning today.
A surprise this AM was a Magnolia Warbler on the Hemlock Trail. Hooded Warblers were abundant, singing & calling. I had a couple Black-thr Greens plus Ovenbirds. Heard B&W, Cerulean. Of course, lots of Com Yellowthroats.
Wood Thrushes seemed fewer but still singing. Have heard Veery a couple times but not today. White-eyed and Red-eyed Vireos. Acadian FC, E Peewee.
Good looks at Pileated WP. A bonus was a flyover Baltimore Oriole, just south of Lancaster.
On Saturday, I had 2 adult Bald Eagles over Rt 33 between Clr Crk and Lancaster.
