I've been meaning to post this for some time. We've had a junco (male)
visit our patio on maybe 6 or so occasions this summer -- he appears, pecks
at the seed we through on the ledge, then leaves, probably appearing about
every 2 weeks or so. I saw him again yesterday. Since we aren't too far
from Pierson's Creek and juncos are apparently known to nest there, we
figure he is/they are coming from that area, but it's still fun to have a
junco in summer.
