I spent a few hours at Conneaut harbor this morning.  It was foggy and misty the first couple hours, then it cleared up some toward the end of my visit.  Birds of note were: red-breasted merganser, 7 bald eagles, ruddy turnstone, 6 semipalmated sandpipers, belted kingfishers, purple martins, and bank swallows.  L. Erie is high and the spit has a lot of standing water on it.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
