Last evening, like they were moving ahead of the storm system, there were
several shorebirds at at least two locations in northern Darke County.
A pothole near Elroy on Ansonia-Elroy Road west of Ansonia:
Lots of pectorals, gr and less yellowlegs
Woods Road between Ansonia and Rossburg:
approx numbers
25 American Golden Plovers
20 Least Sandpipers
18 Gr. Yellowlegs
24 Lesser Yellowlegs
120 Pectoral Sandpipers
