Greetings everyone!  2 American Avocets were found at a new mudflats
location at Pickerel Creek Wildlife Area in Sandusky County yesterday.
These mudflats were found by heading north on Co. Rd. 280 off of Rt 6 to
parking lot E.  The mudflats were easily accessible from this parking
area.  Unfortunately we were not able to walk further in to get a better
look at all the other shorebird species because of the approaching storm
but this area could be a good place to check if you are in the area!
