Yesterday was at my nieces for a gathering and was takin' a group photo of everyone and my wife exclaimed ,,what are those birds behind you. I looked and there were about 11 night hawks circling ,feeding . It was about 5 'oclock. This was in Lima down the road from Teddy Bear Park . Then we went to Delphos , Ohio to the Creamery for some ice cream and again rigth above the Creamery were 4 nighthawks and many chimney swifts feeding. Also the last few days have been havin' a orange variant male Scarlet Tanager come to my garden pond. Charlie Bombaci ID'd the pic I sent him . I knew it was a scarlet tanager but not sure of the phase or sex because of the color . It is beautiful. I just heard the tanager outside and also a pileated woodpecker. I sure love the mornin's here. Russell Lima, Ohio
