While stopped at Brookpark and Broadview this
afternoon around 2:30, I noticed a stunning adult BALD
EAGLE soaring low over the intersection. I turned and
the bird coninued to fly directly up Broadview,
paralleling me for at least half a mile, flapping and
gliding low over the neighborhoods. When I stopped at
the car wash near the top of the hill on Broadview, I
viewed it for a few more lesuirely minutes as it began
circling over the Giant Eagle parking lot. Very cool
indeed...an "urban" Bald Eagle. There really is no
good habitat directly nearby. This is only the second
I've seen in Parma...and the first adult.

Good birding -
Gabe Leidy
