For the past several years I have frequently observed a kettle of Turkey
Vultures gliding over the northeast corner of Chardon village; they appear to
roost in a ravine-riven area of town known locally as Rocky Cellars. Twelve
were circling yesterday at 5:30 pm; they roosted shortly thereafter. Spring IS
here!
