 Well,  my Turkey Vultures have another brood in the old sugar house in the woods!
I saw 3 white, downy young on the bare ground inside the house.  There was a frightful hissing coming from somewhere, I don't think the babies. I didn't see an adult.  The sound was exactly as it sounds on Cornell's All About Birds. Yikes!
  Even more frightful was my camera telling me "battery exhausted" even tho I had just put one in before I left.
 
I already posted the sighting to the OBBA; it's actually in Mantua Twp.
