Had a really great morning at Englewood East and North Metroparks. Spring is in the air!
East Park:
Bald eagle - adult
Red-tailed hawk
Red-shouldered hawks - 2 calling, sky-dancing and landing in the trees at the north end of the park.
Ruddy ducks
Canvasbacks - 3
Redheads
Ring-necked
Lesser scaups
Wood ducks (thanks to Gary Richter)
Tree swallows
Canada geese
North Park:
Red-winged blackbirds
Lesser scaup (1 pair)
DC cormorants - 14
Killdeers - 3
Great blue herons
Red-tailed hawk
