I had been wondering where the Common Yellow Throats were. A couple stopped by a few weeks ago but didn't stay. We usually have three or four breeding pairs near here (Russell). I finally heard one yesterday. I saw one and heard more this morning. It is strange to have the Willow Flycatchers back before the Yellow Throats.
Other migrants Friday included a male Wood Duck, a Wood Thrush (h--first one that I have heard near here this spring), Cedar Waxwings, Red-Eyed Vireos (h--first ones that I have heard near here this spring), Kingbirds, Willow Flycatchers, and Dark-Eyed Juncos.
