I drove up SR 19 thru northern Ohio today and found a stilt in a small pond in a front yard on the east side of the road just about a mile north of the intersection of SR19 with SR18. Had to do a double take just south of Oak Harbor at the intersection of SR19 and Bloom Road - 6 chukars were feeding along the edge of the corn! A co-worker in that area informs me that the folks in the house at that intersection raise exotic game birds, and also have a pet bobcat that is not very friendly - apparently they now have 6 fewer chukars!
