This is Ohio Dominican's final exam week, so I suggested a short on-campus excursion for our university birding club (a chance to relax in the middle of studying/grading). Our hope was to find any roosting owls on campus. We visited a few likely places, and were fortunate to find one Barred Owl in a group of evergreen trees. I was very happy with this result, since we only spent about an hour in our search. Picture here:
