A tour of the CVNP this morning finally (for me) uncovered a small grouping of 5 White-winged Crossbills where the Riding Run Trail crosses Everett Rd, near the intersection with Wheatley Rd. Other highlights included: the largest flock of American Crows I've seen in the CVNP after the onset of Wile Nile Virus crisis; 180 American Crows just south of Everett village; a good sized flock of 22 American Tree Sparrows adjacent to Brandywine golf course; and 26 Pine Siskins at our finch feeder this morning on Kendall Lake Rd.
