I spent a couple hours birding this afternoon in and around Columbus. Highlights include:
-2 rufous morph screech owls at the bridge over Alum Creek north of Schrock Road, along with a large murder of crows, perhaps 200 or more birds
-12 Black-Crowned Night-herons and a Peregrine Falcon at OSU's Drake Union. Only one of the herons was a young bird.
Otherwise, I dipped on the Greenlawn Merlin; and had a decent assortment of the usual suspects.
Good Birding,
