I visited Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus early this morning. I first headed for "the pit" and instantly found an Olive-sided Flycatcher. The bird came really close while I watched it and I got a great chance to study it. Later I found another Olive-sided a little ways away that could have been the same bird but probably was not. Also at the pit I heard an Alder Flycatcher calling and was able to locate it as well. The bird called frequently until it flew farther out into the cemetery and I lost it. Other birds of note included seven species of warbler, a handful of scarlet tanagers, and a pair of kingfishers who looked awfully funny sitting over the small amount of water that the pit had to offer.
Good Birding!
