Subject: Free Program: A Shade-Grown Coffee Future (for you, & the birds!).
Wed, May 5 (Cleveland)
Wednesday, May 5th, we'll have a great presentation by Paul Baicich on Shade
Grown Coffee and how it impacts on birds at the monthly meeting of the
Kirtland Bird Club. There should be plenty of parking that evening at the
Museum. All KBC monthly meetings take place at 7:30 pm at the Cleveland
Museum of Natural History (1 Wade Oval Dr, Cleveland) in the downstairs
classroom. Admission is free; parking is free for KBC members (you can join
at the meeting or online at the KBC Web site) so bring your parking ticket
in to be stamped.

For more information on upcoming field trips, meetings, membership, or
resources (including the authoritative book "Birds of the Cleveland Region")
please see http://www.kirtlandbirdclub.org/default1.htm

A bit about Paul: Paul J. Baicich has been an active birder since his early
teens. He is a former employee of the American Birding Association; he
edited 14 of their "ABA Birdfinding Guides," edited Birding, ABA's
bi-monthly magazine, and served as ABA's Director of Conservation and Public
Policy. He has co-authored (with the late Colin Harrison) *A Guide to the
Nests, Eggs, and Nestlings of North American Birds* (1997), and co-edits
(with Wayne Petersen) the popular monthly *Birding Community E-bulletin.*

Happy Birding

Scott
