Hello Ohio Birders,

I'm new to this listserv but just joined since I'm coming into Ohio
for birding this weekend. While reading some of the archives I
learned about "the" Garganey that lots of people have been posting
about.

I'd like to see the Garganey while I'm in Ohio. If any of you could
please let me know where the bird is (near what city, what refuge/park/
preserve, etc.), how long it has been around, and how likely is it for
me to find the bird if I searched for a few hours.

Thanks.

Gabriel Mapel
New Hope, Virginia

Ps. I am doing a "Junior Big Year" birding this year in 2011. If
you'd like to view my progress and learn what a "Junior Big Year" is,
please check out my blog:
