On the way home from a trip to Brookville Lake in Indiana, the Darke County Birders saw two American Pipits and a couple of Lapland Longspurs with a flock of Horned Larks on Bishop Road. We had great looks at them, as they crossed the road right in front of us and pecked at gravel on the side of the road. We watched them for about ten minutes. We also heard one of the Pipits call. It was very snowy when we started out, but turned out to be a great day for birding.
