Warrenton Inlet and Pike Island Dam at Tiltonsville are hosting quite a few
waterfowl. Wheeling birder Michael Dietrich called to report a Long-tailed
duck amongst 11 white-winged scoters at Pike Island. A trip down did not
disappoint as we saw both species, 80+ canvasbacks, both scaup, golden-eye,
and Hallie Mason also spotted a BC night-heron that eluded us.
