It wasn't raining at 7 so we took a chance and went to Kuhlwein Rd. and the
wetlands. On DC Rd before reaching the entrance to the Nature Center an
imm. dark morph Rough legged was a top a phone pole. When it started
raining before 8, it flew overhead, circled and finalling took a perch in a
tall deciduous tree about 2/10s miles south of Kulhwein Rd. On 11/15, an
imm. f. light morph was here. At least 11 Northern Harriers were active,
up to 8 interacting over on small area of the wetlands. A few ducks were
flying in, most notably six Canvasback.
