The Intro Ornithology Class at Ohio State University birded Greenlawn
Cemetery this morning before the rain hit, and found some nice temperate
migrants mixed with winter residents. Highlights included:
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, 2 by the bridge
Winter Wren, 2 by the bridge
Brown Thrasher, 1 each by the pit and the bridge
Hermit Thrush, 1 by the bridge
Fox Sparrow, 1 singing by the bridge
Chipping Sparrow, several, singing throughout the cemetery
Pine Siskin, 4 at the thistle feeders at the pit
Alex Champagne
